I have always loved RPG scenarios, especially when it comes in the form of a pamphlet. Somebody has an idea for an adventure and has shrunken it down to the core. Only the most important information is kept because of the lack of space for the format. The third stretch goal for the Dragonbane adventure THE GODWOLF FROM THE CROOKED MOUNTAINS is one of these pamphlet scenarios. It is called THE CULT OF THE IRON AXES. It also takes place in Yorheim, the same country that is introduced in the adventure. It is totally separate and can be played as a prologue or a follow up.
Around the city of Brande a series of axe murders have occurred. Many fingers are pointing at a mysterious axe cult that have sprung up the last couple of years. The local chieftain is desperate and have announced a reward of 100 gold coins to anyone that can solve the murders and crush the cult…
